Stephanie De Dycker graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Law of the University of Louvain, in Belgium. She obtained a LLM degree in International Relations and Conflict Management from the University of Leuven, in Belgium.

Being a qualified attorney at the Brussels Bar, she worked as an associate in the American law firm Steptoe & Johnson LLP where she focused on matters of corporate and commercial law. In the course of her professional experience, she has been constantly dealing with issues and legal questions having an international character.

By following the Master's program in International Dispute Settlement, Stephanie intends to complete the experience gained over the past five years as an attorney in international commercial and corporate law with a full knowledge of the existing international dispute settlement procedures. She intends to pursue her professional career within the international arbitration department of a Geneva based international law firm. She would also be very much interested in conducting some research in the field of international commercial law.

Stephanie was born in 1979 in Italy. Having lived in different countries (Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands) for study or work reasons, she has the Belgian and Swiss citizenship and speaks French, English, Dutch, Italian and has basic knowledge of German.
