Luis Armando López Linaldi graduated from the Faculty of Law of the "Universidad de las Americas, Puebla" (UDLAP) in 2002. He graduated with honors and specialized in International Public Law. Luis also holds an Associate Degree on Customs Transactions and Customs Clearance awarded by the "Primera Escuela de Tráfico y Tramitación Aduanal" (ETTA) and a Bachelor in International Commercialization awarded by the "Escuela Superior de Comercio Internacional" (ESCI).

In his professional experience, Luis worked, for almost five years, as Import and Export Operations Manager at "Grupo Hernandez Garza, S.C.", one of the top 10 Customs Broker's Agencies in Mexico. During this period, in 2004, he was awarded by the "Ministry of Finance and Public Credit" from the Mexican Federal Government an authorization to be a representative of a Customs Broker, becoming one of the youngest representatives in the country. He also received from the "Ministry of Public Education" of the Mexican Federal Government the "Certification to Represent a Customs Broker Agent on the Customs Transactions and Customs Clearance Procedures".

Luis' main areas of expertise and interest are deeply related to Customs procedures, WTO/GATT's procedures, International Private Law and International Public Law.

He has also had some international academic experiences. During his high school formation, he studied one year in the United States (in Hilo, Hawaii). He also holds two Postgraduate Diplomas, one in "Law & Business in Europe" (European Union Competition Law) and another one in "International Trade Law", both awarded by the "Istituto Universitario di Studi Europei" located in Torino, Italy.
