Ríos Tellez Sill, Greta - Mexico

Greta Ríos was born in Mexico City in 1983. She studied International Relations at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Campus Santa Fe. In December 2006, she graduated With Honors and was also top of her class. During college, she had an outstanding participation in extra-academic activities, such as Student Associations and Clubs. Greta was founder and President of the Students' Association for the United Nations, among others. She has always shown a great interest for humanitarian affairs, peace and international cooperation. As a volunteer, Greta has worked in several events and NGO's related to environmental and social development topics. She worked as an English teacher from 2003 to 2006, when she was employed by a local environmentalist NGO called "Reforestamos México". She held the Programs Manager position at this organization for more than a year. Late in 2007, Greta started working as Director of Foreign Affairs and Public Policies for a private firm named "Geopolitical and Economic Consulting".
