Wei Zhuang was born in China in 1983. She got her Bachelor degree in Law from Southwest Jiaotong University in July 2005, ranking first in her major. Then she practiced law in Commission for Discipline Inspection of a county as a West Programme Volunteer from July 2005 to August 2006. As a Discipline Inspection Officer, she was responsible for assisting her director to judge the case about party discipline and administrative discipline.

From September 2006, she began to pursue her master degree in International Law in Shandong University, China. Owing to her outstanding performance, she was sent to Tilburg University, the Netherlands, for further study from August 2007. During this year, she was lucky to have much international experience, such as study trip to Geneva, Frankfurt, Rome, and Shanghai, and also international student festival in Hague, just as her CV indicates.
