Iobidze, Salome - Georgia

Born in Georgia in 1982, Salome Iobidze graduated from Tbilisi State University (Georgia), Faculty of International Law and International relations (Diploma with honours). She is holder of the "Hans Wilsdorf Foundation" scholarship for the MIDS program.

For the past five years she worked at the International Private Law Department of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, where she has been part of the lawyers representing the Republic of Georgia in the several ISCID and ICC arbitration Cases. As a consequence, she has gained significant experience in the field of International Dispute Settlement.

From the beginning of 2011 she began to work in the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia as a lawyer. The function of her job is to conclude a large number of contracts, where International/local arbitration is stated as the way of dispute settlement.

Salome speaks in Georgian, English, and Russian and has a basic knowledge of French. In 2010 she successfully took the Georgian Bar examination.
